Moody’s upgraded the rating of 32 tranches, confirmed the rating of one tranche and affirmed the rating of 43 tranches backed by subprime mortgage loans.

Due to loan performance improvements most of the previously downgraded tranches were affirmed at a C (sf) rating.

After being rated C (sf) in April 2010 the RASC Series 2005-KS5 Trust Cl. M-6 has been upgraded to Ca (sf). Meanwhile the rating of several other tranches in this series remains C (sf).

The ratings of three of the seven RASC Series 2005-KS3 Trust tranches Cl. M-7, Cl. M-8, Cl. and M-9 also were affirmed at C (sf) after downgrades in 2010 and 2009.

Similarly three tranches issued by the RASC Series 2005-KS4 Trust Cl. M-4, Cl. M-5 and Cl. M-6 remain on C (sf).

Most of the rating upgrades were assigned to trenches that were placed under possible upgrade reviews in 2012.
