The average rate for a five-year Treasury-indexed hybrid ARM dropped two basis points to 2.72%. The rate on a one-year Treasury ARM remained stable at 2.56%.
Average points charged came to 0.8 of a point on 30-year loans and 0.6 on 15-year loans.
A year ago, 30-year FRMs averaged 4%, 15-year loans 3.3%.
