The Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry is ending its reinstatement for streamlined renewals Wednesday at midnight EST.

Those who have not requested reinstatement of their state license or licenses that were due to be renewed, will not be able to do so after the deadline, according to the NMLS.

The NMLS also said on Tuesday that it would soon manage additional licenses for non-depositories outside the traditional mortgage industry it has been serving.

It indicated at least 11 states plan to transition existing licenses onto NMLS this year and that more will follow next year.
