LERETA LLC has appointed current president John Walsh to the role of CEO. He assumed responsibilities in September and succeeded Jim Thornton as he retires after 25 years with LERETA.

Thornton is a minority shareholder of LERETA and will continue to serve as a member of the board.

Walsh has more than 30 years of experience in the real estate industry, including six years as president of DataQuick, a nationwide provider of real estate property information and mortgage settlement services.

Prior to DataQuick he served as CEO of three technology companies and as an executive at Weyerhauser Mortgage.

COLORADO

LenderLive said that Jeffrey Lewis has joined the firm as regional account executive in New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania for its correspondent lending business line.

Lewis brings more than 30 years of mortgage industry experience to LenderLive.

Most recently, he was president/consultant of Realex Consulting, and prior to that was senior vice president of Gateway Funding DMS.

Lewis also held executive positions at Countrywide Home Loans, Credit Suisse First Boston and H&R Block Mortgage Corp.

Summit Valuations said that Mark Melikian has joined the company and as chief valuation officer with responsibility for training and managing the firm's quality assurance team and leading new product development.

Melikian has been appraising real estate since 1987 and has been active in nationwide valuation services since 2005.

Much of his recent experience has focused on forensic reviews of REO properties for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

MASSACHUSETTS

Jamie Tritz has joined Mortgage Network Inc. as a loan officer in the company's West Chester, Pa., branch office.

In her new role, Tritz will be responsible for serving homebuyers and homeowners throughout the southeast Pennsylvania area.

She brings to Mortgage Network 10 years of mortgage banking experience in the Berks, Chester, Lancaster, Montgomery and Philadelphia areas, and most recently served as a loan originator for Customers Bank.

Mid America Mortgage Inc. said that John Rhode has joined the company as an account executive in the wholesale and correspondent lending division.

Rhode brings 24 years of wholesale lending experience to Mid America and will be focused on the Chicago area and surrounding markets.

Prior to joining Mid America, he served in sales, operations and management positions for a variety of mortgage lenders, most recently including Pacific Union Financial, The Advantage Group and Sierra Pacific Mortgage Corp.
