Stearns Lending has promoted James Hecht to the position of chief operating officer, executive managing director.

In his new role, Hecht will have senior leadership responsibilities, overseeing fulfillment and all production channels — wholesale, retail, correspondent, consumer direct and strategic alliances.

He joined the company in 2012 and most recently served as executive vice president, strategic development.

GREENWOOD VILLAGE

Andrew Weiss has joined Stratmor Group as a principal in the firm's IT and operations advisory practice.

Weiss has led teams at both startups and Fortune 500 companies, focusing his efforts on the optimal use of technology, big data, analytics and automated decision processes.

While serving as senior vice president of advanced technology at Fannie Mae, he led the team that invented, developed, and fostered most of the company's technology innovations, including the concept development and initial implementation of the Desktop Underwriter system.

Cushman & Wakefield said that Senior Managing Director Paul Carr has joined the firm's Tampa-based senior housing team of Executive Managing Director Allen McMurtry, Senior Managing Director Megan Fetter and Senior Managing Director David Kliewer.

Carr is a 12-year capital markets veteran, who prior to joining the senior housing team, was a member of Cushman & Wakefield's capital markets group in Tampa.

Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, he was a member of CBRE's investment properties group.

Aries Capital said that Brandon Perdeck has joined the firm as an analyst in its Chicago office.

Prior to joining Aries Capital, Perdeck was employed as a financial analyst with Hart Advisory Group, a Miami-based real estate advisory firm.

Previous to that position, he served as a financial analyst with Vaupen Financial Advisors, a boutique investment banking firm, also based in Miami.

Tina Nuss has joined Mortgage Network Inc. as loan officer in the company's Lancaster, Pa., branch office.

Nuss brings to Mortgage Network 13 years of mortgage banking experience in the Lancaster area, where she most recently served as loan originator for Santander Bank.

She has a total of more than 30 years of experience in the housing industry, having spent the first part of her career in the title insurance business.
