The American Land Title Association has appointed Chris Morton as senior vice president of public affairs.

Morton previously served as executive vice president, government affairs and business strategy at the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting.

He also brings experience in senior roles at Fannie Mae and the Federal Housing Finance Board and his career includes additional work at the national level for Members of Congress, Cabinet officials, and in the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors.

LenderClose has added software engineers Justin Oglesby and Steven Krossner to its expanding team in Des Moines.

Oglesby most recently served at IMT Insurance where he collaborated with a team of software testers on front- and back-end policy systems.

Krossner brings to LenderClose nearly 10 years of experience across all areas of the software development life cycle.

Visual Lease has appointed Erinn Tarpey as senior vice president, marketing.

Prior to joining Visual Lease, Tarpey spent almost eight years building the marketing organization at iCIMS, a recruitment provider.

She comes to Visual Lease with experience managing the development of proprietary research, supporting mergers and acquisitions and marketing through the partner channel.

WFG National Title Insurance Co. has promoted Jacquie Brink to senior vice president, Great Lakes division manager.

Brink, who has more than 30 years of industry experience, will work with independent title agencies in Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota.

The company also named Suzanne Tinsley Southwest regional manager.

Tinsley will be responsible for daily agency operations in Arkansas, Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas.

SimpleNexus has elected senior sales executive Cathleen Schreiner Gates to its board of directors.

From 2015 to 2019, she served as EVP of sales and marketing at cloud-based mortgage finance technology provider Ellie Mae.

Schreiner Gates is CEO of independent consulting firm Trifecta, which she founded in 2009.
