FormFree has hired Ann Fulmer as its chief strategy and industry relations officer.

A nationally recognized strategist, speaker and author specializing in data integrity, fraud and federal/CFPB regulatory compliance in mortgage loan originations, Fulmer has been a mortgage industry mainstay for more than 17 years.

Most recently, she was vice president of industry relations and strategy for First American Mortgage Solutions following its 2014 acquisition of Interthinx.

Walker & Dunlop Inc. has hired Jamie Butler as managing director in its capital markets group.

Based out of the company's headquarters in Bethesda, Butler is responsible for sourcing equity and debt for development projects and stabilized assets across all property types, with a focus in the mid-Atlantic region.

Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, he was senior vice president at CBRE in the firm's capital markets group.

AmTrust Title Insurance Co. said that Robert Keppler has joined the company as title reader.

During Keppler's more than four-decade career, he held most positions in the title business at one time or another.

Prior to joining AmTrust, he owned and operated Keppler Title Agency located in Elmsford, N.Y. Earlier he worked for First American in White Plains, N.Y., and before that, Judicial Title, also in White Plains.

Arch Mortgage Insurance Co. has promoted Valerie Ausband to senior vice president for field sales.

Ausband joined United Guaranty Corp. as senior account executive in 1998. She was promoted to national account vice president in 2003 and appointed regional vice president-production for the Southeast in 2006.

Her current promotion follows the acquisition of UGC by Arch U.S. MI Holdings Inc., the parent company of Arch MI, at the beginning of 2017.

CINCINNATI

Fifth Third Bancorp said that John Adam has been named Fifth Third Mortgage national sales leader.

Adam, who brings more than 25 years of experience in sales management, business development and change management, previously served as executive vice president at Stearns Lending.

Prior to joining Stearns, he served as senior vice president and divisional sales executive at Bank of America Home Loans.

PENNSYLVANIA

PLYMOUTH MEETING

New Penn Financial has promoted Kevin Harrigan to the position of chief operating officer.

Harrigan joined New Penn in 2013, serving most recently as chief risk and administrative officer.

He has over 30 years of senior management experience in financial services and mortgage banking, including positions with CIT Group, Bank of America and KeyCorp.

TEXAS

Stewart has appointed Michael Tafoya as group senior vice president of direct operations.

Tafoya brings to the firm more than 32 years of experience in title industry sales, marketing and operational leadership.

He most recently served as co-founder and chief executive officer for Title365 Co. and president of its affiliated businesses, X1 Analytics, Xome Signings and its technology company X1 Labs.
