She joins Sierra Pacific Mortgage with a 25 years of experience in implementing origination platforms and growing market share in third-party originations.

Mahar previously served with Cardinal Financial Co. and Stearns Lending.

LenderClose has hired Jesse Scott as a relationship manager and Connor Sorge as a sales representative.

Most recently, Scott served as a senior relationship banker for Bank of the West in West Des Moines. He has also worked as a property manager.

Sorge previously served as a financial representative with Northwestern Mutual.

Guaranteed Rate has hired Kristen Brabants as senior vice president of marketing to oversee its retail marketing platform.

Brabants previously served as vice president of retail marketing for loanDepot, responsible for all marketing initiatives and communication functions for its retail division.

Total Expert has named Steve Sovik chief revenue officer.

Sovik, who has nearly 30 years of experience in tech software sales in Silicon Valley, joins Total Expert from Tipalti, a global AP automation company.

Prior to Tipalti, he was global senior vice president of sales at Coupa.

Zillow Group has named Rian Furey president of Zillow Home Loans, bringing more than 20 years of direct-consumer lending operations and capital markets experience to Zillow's mortgage business.

Most recently, Furey served as chief operating officer of Impac Mortgage. He previously held roles as chief administrative officer of loanDepot and chief operating officer of LendingTree Loans.

In addition to serving as president of Zillow Home Loans, Furey will oversee Zillow Group's mortgage portfolio, which includes Marketplace and Mortech.
