PrimeLending, a PlainsCapital company, has hired Christina Chisholm as a loan officer.

Chisholm brings more than 20 years of mortgage industry experience to PrimeLending after working at HomeState Mortgage.

In her new role, she will assist with Alaska Housing Finance Corp., first-time home buyer, FHA, VA, construction and rehab loans for investors and primary homes. She also specializes in HUD 184 Alaska Native loans.

WNC, a national investor in real estate and community development initiatives, has promoted Anil Advani to executive vice president of originations and finance.

He joined WNC in 2011 and most recently has been responsible for oversight of the firm’s proprietary funds, investor due diligence and originations/syndication team.

Prior to joining WNC, Advani served as managing director with Red Capital Group, working in the company’s tax syndication group.

Ellie Mae said that Dinesh Shahane has joined the company as senior vice president of engineering.

Prior to joining Ellie Mae, Shahane was the chief technology officer of SAP Ariba.

Prior to joining SAP Ariba in 2010, he served as the chief architect at Composite Software Inc., a data virtualization company leading the federated SQL and XQuery engine.

Home Point Financial Corp. has named Ross Gloudeman chief compliance officer.

Gloudeman has 10 years of experience providing legal counsel and administration of risk and compliance management systems in the financial services and mortgage industry.

Prior to joining Home Point, he served with AIMD Consulting and Walter Investment Management Corp.

The Community Development Trust, which provides long-term debt and equity capital for the creation and preservation of affordable housing and charter schools, has elected two new members to its board of directors: Brian A. Hudson Sr., executive director and chief executive officer of the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency, and Robin Hughes, president and chief executive officer of Abode Communities, a Los Angeles-based nonprofit affordable housing developer.

Hudson took over the PHFA reins on July 1, 2003, following his appointment to the post by unanimous approval by the agency’s board of directors.

He is past president of the National Council of State Housing Agencies, chairman of the Commonwealth Cornerstone Group and a member of the board of the National Housing Trust.

Hughes has been actively involved in affordable housing and community development for more than 30 years.

She currently serves on the Board of California Community Reinvestment Corp., is the Housing Partnership Network’s board chair and is co-policy chair of the California Housing Consortium.

AmTrust Title Insurance Co. said that Cynthia Kern has joined the firm as senior underwriting counsel.

She brings to the firm more than 15 years of legal and operational experience in the real estate industry.

Prior to joining AmTrust Title, Kern was underwriting counsel and operations strategist with New York-based World Wide Land Transfer Inc.
