Ventas Inc., a health care real estate investment trust based in Louisville, Ky., has priced a private offering of $125 million of 6 1/2% notes issued by its operating partnership, Ventas Realty LP, and a wholly owned subsidiary, Ventas Capital Corp.The senior unsecured notes, due 2016, were issued at a price of 99.5% of the principal amount, Ventas reported. The company said it plans to use the net proceeds of the offering, together with borrowings under its revolving credit facility, to repay all the outstanding debt under its commercial mortgage-backed securities loan.
