Since Wells Fargo Housing Foundation partnered with Habitat for Humanity, building one house at a time, the megabank has invested more than $278 million in support of affordable housing and community revitalization programs and plans to further expand its contributions.
In 2012 alone Wells provided nearly $15 million for credit and housing counseling agencies.
Joint efforts in partnership with Habitat in 2012 include more than 1.5 million volunteer hours valued at $32.7 million by more than 57,000 Wells Fargo team members. (For 2011 the value of one volunteer hour was $21.79.)

Wells’ grants since 1993 also include $39 million to credit and housing counseling agencies and another $18 million through the Leading the Way Home program designed to offer assistance for large building or renovation projects in priority markets.
During the past 20 years more than 192,000 Wells Fargo Housing Foundation team members volunteered 4.7 million hours to support the construction of 5,000 Habitat for Humanity and Rebuilding Together homes for low- to moderate-income families nationwide.
