So far we have covered having people discover their sales strengths, assisting real estate agents with tax planning and teaching people self defense. This idea takes a little more time-but it's worth the effort.
Have you thought about becoming an accredited instructor for continuing education courses for your local board of Realtors?
While there is work involved in getting approved to teach courses, find out what's not being taught (social media is a biggie). Each association/state has detailed requirements-and most of the time you can download it from a website.
The process is not complicated-some may just want an outline, others a PowerPoint presentation, and some associations will test you and want to monitor a class to see exactly how you plan to teach it.
Once you get certified, it's one of the ways to become known as the "mortgage expert" in your corner of the world.
Not only will get to meet agents that you would not normally meet on a day-to-day basis, it's a huge kudos (on your resume/website/e-mail signature) that you are an accredited instructor for real estate agents.
No longer do you have get up in the morning and ask yourself-what do I do next? Now you have several months' worth of face time-with events that you can arrange for the remainder of the year.
