A trio of loan officers from the same Chicago-based company occupies three of the top four spots in the preliminary results of the Origination News 2011 top producer survey.
This is the first version of our list, and the results have not been vetted. But there is still time to get your production numbers in. And even if you aren't in our top five to date, we would like to have your information anyway because our data gathering affiliate uses it for all sorts of statistics it generates.
Harinder Johar of Guaranteed Rate did nearly $204 million in volume, followed by co-worker Shimmy Braun at $196 million. Brian Scott Cohen of Wells Fargo Home Mortgage is third at $195 million, while Guaranteed Rate's Joe Caltabiano is fourth at $183 million.
Brian Blonder of EagleBank is fifth at $171 million.
We have moved the deadline for survey completion to March 30 because to allow more people to participate. Because of this, our annual top 150 list will run in the May issue.
