How Will Fed's Tapering Decision Affect the Mortgage Industry?

Barry Habib, founder and CEO of MBS Highway, believes when the Fed announces the beginning of tapering on Sept. 18, the central banking system of the U.S. will taper more of Treasury's bonds and less of mortgage-backed securities, holding this until possibly the spring of 2014.
