Are You a Top 200 Originator?

Brian Scott Cohen of Wells Fargo's Brooklyn, N.Y. office is now the provisional leader in Origination News' 2013 Top 200 loan officer survey.

Cohen produced $336 million in mortgages last year, an increase of $10 million from his 2012 volume of $326 million, a year he finished in the No. 3 position. He is also the current leader by number of units produced, at 720.

Ben Anderson of Mount Olympus Mortgage, Irvine, Calif. is currently in the second spot, with volume of $201 million. Next is Roland Benson of imortgage, Roseville, Calif., who originated $170 million in 2012.

This data is used as the basis for our annual top 200 loan officer list, which will appear in the April edition of ON.

Anyone who submits data for this year's survey will get a complimentary subscription to Origination News. The data helps our research team get a handle on the overall size of the mortgage market, so we are looking for all loan officers, no matter how much they produced, commercial and/or residential, to fill out our questionnaire.

We are still accepting submissions at www.originationnews.com/losurvey. We have a template to use at the same location for any company which is submitting data for 10 or more loan officers.
