New American Funding Acquires Radio Show

National mortgage banker New American Funding is taking an unusual approach to customer outreach that may just be a sign of the times.

The Tustin, Calif.-based Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac direct seller and servicer with a total servicing portfolio of over $1.5 billion is funding "Mortgage Hunters America," a highly anticipated new customer education radio show airing in Los Angeles, San Diego, Riverside and Denver counties.

The show’s host, Tim Conway Jr., has been a nationally syndicated host for more than 12 years is credited for “providing a wide variety of entertaining topics, in a down-to-earth manner,” the bank said.

The new radio program will provide financial education including specific information on loan products and other mortgage market industry trends that matter to current and prospective homeowners.

The bank said it expects the show will explore a variety of topics related to homeownership and home refinancing.

Rick Arvielo, president of New American Funding, said he plans to frequent the show as a guest speaker to offer his expertise and insight.
