Angel Oak Home Loans has sped along its course for national expansion by adding multiple branches in North Carolina.
The Atlanta-based company will operate locations in Charlotte, Cary, Raleigh and Wilmington. Arch Williams and Phil Wagner will serve as area manager and sales manager, respectively, and will lead most of the regional operations in North Carolina.
Angel Oak cited the Tar Heel State's strong housing market, including high growth and construction, as the main driver in its decision to spread to the state.
"We're very pleased with the direction the North Carolina housing market is moving, providing distinct opportunities for our mortgage-seeking clients across the state," Williams said in an Aug. 11 news release.
