Marcus & Millichap Capital Corp. has hired Darija Walker as an associate director located in the firm's Oakland sales office.

She will be responsible for securing debt and equity financing for a variety of investment property types, including multifamily, office, retail, hospitality and new construction for both domestic and international clients.

Prior to joining MMCC, Walker was a loan advisor and capital markets lead with Piedmont Capital. Prior to that, she served in various positions with Newmark Realty Capital Inc., Umpqua Bank, US Capital Partners and Morgan Stanley.

SAN FRANCISCO

Roostify has hired Eric Amblard as chief financial officer. He comes to Roostify from EverString Technologies, where he also served as CFO.

Prior to his role at Everstring, Amblard held CFO and finance executive positions with NetBoost, Intel, Ensim (acquired by Ingram Micro) and KXEN (acquired by SAP).

Planet Home Lending, a privately held mortgage lender and servicer, has named Mike McChesney chief information officer.

McChesney, who has more than three decades of industry experience, was previously executive director of Service Link. He has also served with KPMG, IBM, Chase Manhattan Mortgage and GMAC.

Planet Home Lending also named Kimberley Veeder-Caffrey regional sales manager for the Northwestern United States.

Veeder-Caffrey brings to the firm more than two decades of real estate and mortgage market experience.

Before joining Planet, she was regional account manager for Franklin American Mortgage Co.

Mortgage Network Inc. has hired Peter Jose as a loan officer in its Freeport, Maine, branch serving the Portland area.

Jose brings to Mortgage Network five years of mortgage banking experience in the Portland area, and most recently served as a loan officer for Residential Mortgage Services.

Lenders One Cooperative, a national alliance of independent mortgage bankers, promoted Michael Kuentz to the role of chief executive officer. He previously held the title of president.

Kuentz has 20 years of sales and management experience in the mortgage industry and, since joining the cooperative two years ago, has led the Lenders One sales team.

Prior to joining Lenders One, he served with Equifax Inc. as senior vice president of verification services and senior vice president of mortgage services.

Greystone has hired Gill Dolan and Blake Willeford as managing directors in its recently established Houston office.

Dolan has over 10 years of experience in commercial real estate finance and prior to joining Greystone, he handled loan originations at Grandbridge Real Estate Capital.

Willeford, who joins Greystone with 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, previously served as a commercial loan officer at Grandbridge Real Estate Capital.

Castle Lanterra Properties has hired Hilary Davidson, who brings to the firm nearly 15 years of real estate finance and management experience as an analyst, underwriter and chief operating officer of REITs, multifamily investment firms, hedge funds and private equity funds.

Most recently, Davidson was a managing director and chief operating officer for Shamrock Communities, a multifamily real estate investment company.
