Buckley Sandler said that Jeffrey Hydick has joined the firm's corporate transactions practice as counsel in its Washington office.

Hydrick has over 15 years of experience working with companies on M&A deals, strategic alliances, mortgage and student lending, outsourcing agreements and other corporate structures and program arrangements.

His transactional practice covers all facets of the payments business, including the development and implementation of consumer payment products and services for banks and nonbanks.

WASHINGTON

The Collingwood Group said that long-time housing finance veteran Chris Negri has joined the firm as senior vice president.

Prior to joining Collingwood, Negri worked for Promontory Financial Group in business development and client management roles. His work focused on organic growth and expansion of the firm's client base.

Landtrust National Title said that Joe Mainolfi has been named the company's new vice president of sales.

He will help develop and grow the Landtrust business by focusing on attorney partnerships and increasing the company's footprint throughout the Chicagoland area.

Prior to joining Landtrust, Mainolfi worked for 10 years at Chicago Title.

HomeBridge Financial Services Inc. said that mortgage industry veteran Brian Sacks recently joined the company in its new Baltimore-area office.

Located in the Baltimore suburb of Columbia, Md., Sacks brings more than 30 years of industry experience to HomeBridge.

During his 30-year career, Sacks has been regularly called on by the media and trade organizations to share both his industry knowledge and expertise.

As an educator, he has authored and taught courses for both the Mortgage Bankers Association of America and National Association of Realtors.

BETHESDA

Walker & Dunlop Inc. hired Jack Boudler as a senior vice president in its FHA finance group.

Boudler will specialize in arranging agency mortgages and interim financing for the national seniors housing and long-term care market.

In a previous position as a senior banker at KeyBank and BB&T Corp., he was involved in numerous acquisitions, recapitalization, construction, bridge and refinance transactions.

More recently, Boudler was an independent strategic advisor engaged by financial institutions seeking to integrate HUD and GSE lending capabilities into their lending platforms.

Gateway Mortgage Group hired Barbara Niedt as a regional sales manager of correspondent lending to serve the Colorado, Utah and Wyoming markets.

Niedt brings more than 25 years of mortgage industry experience with her to Gateway.

She previously worked as vice president for Phoenix Capital Inc. where she provided mortgage servicing rights and advisory services to mortgage executives for the strategic management of sales and bulk MSR portfolios.

Niedt also worked as a senior account executive with Countrywide Correspondent Lending.

TENNESSEE

MEMPHIS

Wunderlich hired Rob Smialek as a senior vice president in its fixed-income capital markets division.

A 12-year industry veteran, Smialek previously headed trading and hedging for New Penn Financial, a wholly owned subsidiary of Shellpoint Partners.

In his new role at Wunderlich, Smialek will help lead growth in mortgage-backed security sales and whole loan trading with a focus on the U.S. residential mortgage banking community, banks and credit unions.
