Auction.com said that John Wilcox has joined the firm as senior vice president of commercial real estate finance.

Wilcox will work out of Auction.com's New York office. The 20-plus-year commercial real estate veteran served most recently at Marcus & Millichap, where he was vice president, East Coast director of capital markets.

While at Marcus & Millichap, he managed operations for the firm's mortgage brokerage business.

He also was managing director and head of capital markets group at Savills (formerly Granite Partners).

Clayton Holdings said that Mark Hughes has joined the company as executive vice president of sales and marketing.

In this position, he will be responsible for the sales, business development and marketing for Clayton and its subsidiaries: Green River Capital, Red Bell Real Estate, ValuAmerica and Clayton Euro Risk.

Hughes brings more than 25 years of operational and business development experience in the due diligence and financial services sectors.

Summit Valuations has promoted Connie Tripple to the newly created position of director of customer experience.

While Tripple still oversees all day-to-day company operations, as well as strategic business planning, support and training, Mark Melikian has come on board as chief valuation officer to handle quality assurance and other duties.

Tripple started her career as a real estate broker working for Real Estate Consulting Services in 2000.

Arbor Commercial Mortgage appointed loan originator Linda Gorbenko as director, FHA in the company's Long Beach, Calif., office.

She is responsible for originating multifamily financing utilizing all of Arbor's loan product offerings including FHA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, CMBS, bridge, mezzanine and preferred equity.

Prior to Arbor, Gorbenko was an executive director at CIBC where she originated short- and long-term, fixed- and floating-rate financing transactions.

Valuation Partners has hired Jim Davis in the new position of managing director, loan servicing.

Davis, who has over 25 years of mortgage industry experience, most recently served as vice chairman of Stewart Lending Services, where he led the company's acquisitions efforts and all government affairs interactions.

He also served as an executive vice president of government affairs for American Home Mortgage Servicing/Homeward Residential.
