Ellie Mae said that Peter Hirsch has joined the company as executive vice president of technology and operations.

In this newly created role, Hirsch will be responsible for leading all of Ellie Mae's technology groups.

He brings more than 30 years of technology experience to his new role, with specific expertise in cloud technology applications.

Prior to joining Ellie Mae, Hirsch served as a senior vice president at Ariba Inc., where he was responsible for the company's SaaS application suite and global data center infrastructure.

SAN DIEGO

Plaza Home Mortgage said that Ed VanDuren has joined the company as senior vice president, correspondent lending.

VanDuren is a 25-year veteran of the mortgage industry.

Most recently, he was vice president of lending operations at New Penn Financial, where he was involved in every aspect of national branch operations.

Earlier in his career, VanDuren served as sales director with Seneca One Finance, vice president of sales and service with Intouch Credit Union, and regional manager of Navy Federal Credit Union.

TORRANCE

DocMagic Inc. has hired Edward Komski who will assume the role of national sales manager.

In this capacity, he will be responsible for introducing DocMagic's entire suite of software to large, enterprise-level lending organizations.

For more than 24 years, Komski has owned and operated ELK Group Inc., a business consulting firm.

He brings to the company a background in mortgage banking working with lenders, technology firms and other large business entities.

FLORIDA

WEST PALM BEACH

OpenClose has hired Patrick Mancier as senior software developer.

Mancier is a seasoned software engineer who brings to the company almost 20 years of experience engineering innovative applications using the latest development techniques and programming languages.

Prior to joining OpenClose, he was a senior developer at Reverse Mortgage Solutions Inc.

MASSACHUSETTS

DANVERS

Stan Marlar has joined Mortgage Network Inc. as branch manager of the company's Nashville, Tenn., office.

Marlar brings to Mortgage Network 15 years of mortgage banking experience in the Nashville area.

Most recently, he served as a senior loan officer for Hancock Mortgage Partners.

PENNSYLVANIA

TREVOSE

LoanLogics has named Terese Campbell senior vice president of operational excellence.

In her new role, she will be responsible for the management of the forensic underwriting team and the quality control audit division.

Prior to her expanded role, Campbell served as senior vice president for product management.

Before joining LoanLogics, Campbell spent over 20 years at PHH Mortgage, where she served most recently as vice president of credit and operational risk.
