LRES, a national appraisal and REO management company, hired Nick Grant as its new senior vice president of sales.

In this role, Grant is responsible for managing sales and business development operations, building customer relationships and growing new strategic business relationships with mortgage lenders and servicers.

Prior to LRES, he served at SWBC Insurance Services in San Antonio and Timberline Insurance in Austin.

ClosingCorp, a provider of residential real estate closing cost data and technology for the mortgage and real estate services industries, said that James Bolger has joined the company as chief financial officer.

In this position, he will lead and manage ClosingCorp’s financial affairs including fiscal reporting, budget planning and capital financing.

Prior to ClosingCorp, Bolger was chief financial officer of PTI Marketing Technologies.

Prior to PTI, he held senior financial positions at Accredited Home Lenders and GreenPoint Credit Corp.

Inland Real Estate Advisors Inc. said that Andrew Hartigan has joined the firm as senior executive, valuation services.

In this role, Hartigan will lead the valuation services team and oversee the commercial appraisal engagements on behalf of Inland's clients.

He brings nearly 15 years of commercial appraisal, valuation and consulting experience to his position, including investment real estate analysis, IRS audits, estate planning and institutional portfolio management.

Walker & Dunlop Inc. said that Mark Plenge was promoted to senior vice president and has relocated to the firm's Seattle office.

With more than 20 years of industry experience, Plenge is responsible for new multifamily and commercial loan originations, primarily on the West Coast.

He will be joining Senior Vice President Craig Russell in the Seattle office and will continue to arrange commercial and multifamily real estate financing in the Western states.

Residential mortgage originator PrimeLending, a PlainsCapital company, said that Mike Watkinson has joined the company as regional manager for the Northeast region

Watkinson brings to the company more than 25 years of experience in the home loan industry.

Previously, he served as senior vice president at Embrace Home Loans, regional sales executive for Bank of America, district manager for National City Mortgage and state manager/private mortgage banking for Citizens Bank.

SALT LAKE CITY

Primary Residential Mortgage Inc. has named Burton Embry its new chief compliance officer.

In his new capacity, he will continue to oversee and manage the company's enterprise risk management group and represent PRMI's interests with industry and trade groups.

Embry brings with him over 30 years of experience in the mortgage industry with more the 25 of those years focusing on mortgage compliance and quality assurance matters.

He is currently the chair of the Mortgage Bankers Association regulatory compliance subcommittee.
