LRES has appointed Diane Valadez as its new vice president of national sales.
Prior to LRES, she was senior vice president of sales, client relations and marketing at InsideValuation, a provider of commercial and residential evaluations, which LRES acquired in March 2016.
Prior to that, she served as director of sales at Exact Bid, and spent more than 16 years at CoreLogic/First American.
SAN DIEGO
ClosingCorp has named Pat Carney chief innovation officer. He most recently was senior vice president of strategic partnerships at the company.
Prior to joining ClosingCorp, Carney was chief operations officer and chief strategy officer at reQuire, a web-based lien release tracking and reporting service.
He also founded 360 STS, a consulting firm that assists title companies.
THOUSAND OAKS
National Real Estate Solutions said two senior-level managers, Brian O'Toole and Christine Pillow, have been added to its operations team.
O'Toole brings over 15 years of experience in the default mortgage servicing industry.
He joins the firm from RCS where he managed the default claims department.
Pillow has 30 years of experience in the areas of finance, consumer/commercial banking and default servicing with Wells Fargo.

SunTrust Banks Inc. said that Kathy Farrell will be appointed as the head of the commercial real estate line of business, effective Aug. 1.
Farrell succeeds Walt Mercer, who is retiring after nearly 10 years with the bank and more than 40 years in real estate banking.
Farrell has over 25 years of real estate finance and banking experience throughout the country, including origination, underwriting and capital markets.
She has been with SunTrust since 2013, most recently serving as the executive risk officer for CRE.

Guaranteed Rate has named Bill Black, Eric Harlington and Ron Poborsky as vice presidents of mortgage lending.
Black brings to the company over 15 years of mortgage industry experience and will be based in Vancouver, Wash.
Before joining Guaranteed Rate, Harlington, who will be based in Bellevue, Wash., held the titles of both branch manager and production manager at PrimeLending.
Ron Poborsky came to Guaranteed Rate as a branch manager and VP of mortgage lending. He joined the company's Seattle office from Caliber Home Loans, where he was a senior mortgage planner.

StonehamBank has hired Andy Kristen as a mortgage originator.
Kristen brings more than 20 years of client relations and industry experience to StonehamBank, most recently having served as senior loan officer at Meetinghouse Bank.
Prior to that, he worked in lending for Princeton Capital, North Coast Mortgage and National City Mortgage.

LoanLogics has hired Chad Tippin as senior vice president of engineering.
He is responsible for the development and release of several new software products and enhancements.
Prior to joining LoanLogics, Tippin served as director of product development at BMC Software.
From 2008 to 2010, he was president, CEO and COO of Swarmcast, and was responsible for strategy and technical direction.
