CALIFORNIA

PASADENA

Rekon Technologies, a provider of lien release and assignment technology and advanced document management software for mortgage servicers and lenders, named Frank Cerney to the new position of project manager.

Prior to joining Rekon Technologies, Cerney was vendor risk manager for Los Angeles area-based East West Bank, where he focused on managing compliance risk and audit programs.

Earlier, he was a senior systems analyst with Washington-based American Systems, responsible for program risk management and vendor relations in Department of Defense projects.

PLEASANTON

Ellie Mae promoted Cathleen Schreiner Gates to executive vice president of sales and marketing and Joseph Tyrrell to executive vice president of corporate strategy.

With the promotions, both now become officers of the company.

Schreiner Gates has served as senior vice president of sales and client services since February 2012, overseeing all sales, client management, professional services, customer support and training.

Tyrrell has been with Ellie Mae since 2002 and most recently held the position of senior vice president of corporate strategy, overseeing its business and corporate development efforts.

Previously, he served as Ellie Mae's senior vice president of client management and business development.

COLORADO

LONGMONT

Alliant National Title Insurance Co. appointed Dan Solomon as senior vice president and Western region agency manager.

In his new position Solomon will oversee all agency operations in Arizona, Colorado, Nevada and Utah.

He began his career in the lending industry in 1996 as the manager of alternative lending products and services for HomeSpace Service.

RHODE ISLAND

EAST PROVIDENCE

Equity National Title hired Travis Cline and Jonathan Hill, both in the role of vice president, national sales executive.

Cline comes to Equity National with experience on the mortgage lending side of the industry as well as settlement services.

He began his career as a manager with Beneficial Finance before becoming president with Apex Mortgage in 2003.

Cline also served with national mortgage insurance provider MGIC before becoming vice president of national sales for Vantage Point Title.

Hill comes to Equity National with 15 years of settlement services experience, having spent the past five years at First Title and Escrow.

He previously served with Title One, a Michigan-based settlement services firm.

SOUTH CAROLINA

MYRTLE BEACH

Guild Mortgage Co. hired Trippett Boineau Jr. as a senior loan officer.

Boineau, who will be based in the company's Myrtle Beach office, has 33 years of experience in the mortgage industry.

Before joining Guild, he was the vice president at BB&T Mortgage Services, which he retired from after 19-plus years of service.

TEXAS

CARROLLTON

VRM Mortgage Services named Tiffany Fletcher senior vice president of compliance.

In this role, she will be responsible for managing risk mitigation, compliance, internal audits, quality assurance and vendor management initiatives.

Fletcher spent over a decade at Fannie Mae where she began as a senior team leader for its national underwriting center, culminating in the role of vice president of sales in credit loss management.

Additionally, she served as senior vice president of operations for Bank of America.

WASHINGTON

BELLEVUE

NexTitle, a full-service title and escrow firm, named Erin Sheckler president.

Previously, Sheckler was senior vice president, general counsel and Western states regional director for NexTitle.

She joined RCO Legal PS, an affiliate of NexTitle, in 2010 as managing escrow attorney.

Sheckler also served as advisory counsel to several large banks regarding their REO inventory during her tenure with RCO.
