Stratmor Group, a consulting firm that helps banks build mortgage lending and servicing operations, has hired Thomas J. Finnegan III, an industry veteran with over 30 years of mortgage banking experience, as senior associate.
Previously, Finnegan served as president and CEO of the mortgage banking units of FirstMerit Bank, Akron, Ohio, Huntington Bank, Columbus, Ohio, and as a senior mortgage banking executive at Integra Bank and Landmark Savings Association in Pittsburgh.
He began his business career with Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. (now KPMG) as a certified public accountant in the firm's Pittsburgh office.
Finnegan has experience in building mortgage sales organizations targeted toward external business development, including third-party production channels, direct origination via call center and relocation finance.
