Arbor Commercial Mortgage has launched a proprietary online loan processing technology platform.
Through Arbor LoanExpress, borrowers and brokers will be able to upload, change and manage their multifamily loan documents. The platform also offers users with a customized document check list for each loan to see its status during the loan process.
Additionally, the Uniondale, N.Y.-based commercial real estate lender's platform provides communication updates and information requests from Arbor employees assigned to each loan. This platform is designed to expedite the loan process by eliminating the need for direct mailing, faxing or emailing of loan documents.
"In today's business climate, speed and ease of execution are paramount," said Ivan Kaufman, chairman and chief executive of Arbor, in a press release. "We believe Arbor LoanExpress represents the next logical step in the evolution of commercial real estate finance, from a historically manual, paper-based paradigm to one in which the loan process is easily accomplished in a safe and secure online environment."
