Mortgage information provider Ellie Mae has named a new chief executive.

Jonathan Corr, who currently serves as the company's president and chief operating officer, will take over as CEO, effective Feb. 1. He joined the Pleasanton, Calif.-based company in 2002.

Corr will succeed Sig Anderman, who founded Ellie Mae in 1997. Anderman will remain on the company's board as executive chairman.

"As president and COO, Jonathan has proven to be an outstanding leader and has been instrumental in the growth of the company," Anderman said in a press release Monday.

"I am pleased to pass the baton to Jonathan and am confident in his ability to advance our leadership position in the mortgage technology industry."
