Ellie Mae Expands Online Portal to Accept Product Ideas

Ellie Mae in Pleasanton, Calif., introduced a feature to let users submit product ideas through its online loan-origination portal.

The Ellie Mae Idea Center is available on the Encompass product for loan servicing. Users can suggest changes to the product, search for other suggestions, provide feedback and vote on ideas.

Ellie Mae will consider adopting product suggestions submitted through the Idea Center that have received a "significant level of positive responses."

"Many of Ellie Mae's greatest innovations over the years were originally ideas suggested by our clients," Jonas Moe, vice president of product strategy, said in a statement.

The Idea Center will not permit solicitations, advertisements, inappropriate comments, personal attacks, spam or reposts.
