Binh Dang has resigned as president of LendingQB, the company confirmed Thursday.

Dang's resignation was effective as of Oct. 18, LendingQB senior communications manager Linn Cook said in an email. The company's co-founder, Tim Nguyen, will assume LendingQB's management in the interim as it goes through the process of determining Dang's replacement.

"This will have no effect on operations," Cook said, also noting that the company is "evaluating suitable candidates to run the operation and will move forward with that as soon as they are able."

An announcement of Dang's exit was made to partners in an Oct. 19 email from LendingQB strategic partnership manager Susan Hartsock that was obtained by National Mortgage News. In the email, Hartsock said that Dang left the company "to pursue other professional endeavors."

Cook did not comment on Dang's plans, saying, "It is not our place to speak for [Dang] or his future."
