MountainView Capital Holdings has hired David Bennett and Michael Riley for managing director positions on the firm's risk analytics team.

Bennett joined MountainView from Compass Analytics, where he was a managing director and responsible for hedging pipeline risks for mortgage originators and developing new products and models for the mortgage servicing rights asset.

He previously served as MSR manager at Fifth Third Bank and was responsible for model maintenance, portfolio management and valuation.

Riley joined MountainView from W.J. Bradley Mortgage Capital, where he held senior vice president and vice president positions on the capital markets team.

He previously was vice president of MSR valuation and pipeline hedging at Aurora Loan Services and director of MSR hedging at Taylor, Bean & Whitaker.

William J. Thone will assume the role of CEO of AgriBank, effective, Dec. 1, where he has been interim CEO since Aug. 1.

Thone began his Farm Credit career at the Farm Credit Bank of St. Louis in 1979, working in the bank's legal department until he joined AgriBank in 1992 as assistant general counsel.

In 1999, he was named AgriBank's vice president and general counsel responsible for board secretary duties and governance oversight, as well as corporate legal counsel and management of the bank's legal team.

Alterra Home Loans has hired Alex Urmersbach as chief financial officer and promoted Yvonne Yacono as director of finance.

Previously, Urmersbach served as finance and strategy executive for Prospect Mortgage and Bank of America, as well as working for several financial institutions in South America and Europe.

Yacono previously served as Alterra’s Chief Business Officer. In her new role as director of finance, she will manage and develop the company's accounting and finance operations, including payroll, servicing and process improvements throughout each department.

Greystone has appointed Kelly Cush as senior underwriter in its FHA group.

Prior to joining Greystone, Cush was employed for seven years with Housing & Healthcare Finance, a boutique FHA lender based in Chevy Chase, Md., most recently serving as its chief underwriter.

Before that, she worked with Red Capital as an FHA multifamily and health care underwriter for seven years.

WFG National Title Insurance Co. has named Sharon Grannis as state manager for its retail title operations in Arizona. WFG also appointed Al Willey as its vice president, escrow operations in Arizona.

Grannis, with over 30 years in the title and settlement services industry, will be charged with the operational leadership and market growth of WFG's retail operations across Arizona.

Willey comes to WFG with over 40 years of experience in the title and escrow business.
