VIP Mortgage is expanding into the Colorado market and hired Jennifer Tulcan as executive vice president of national sales and John Suggs as vice president of process management.
Tulcan will oversee the company's growth while continuing to develop sales with an emphasis on the Colorado market. Prior to VIP, she was a branch manager with GMAC Mortgage.
Suggs previously served as the chief risk officer for Academy Mortgage from 2010 to 2016.

American Advisors Group has named Jesse Allen as its senior vice president of national field sales.
Allen was responsible for running Bank of America's reverse mortgage line of business, one of the largest reverse mortgage platforms in the history of the industry during its time.
His most recent position was as SVP of sales enablement and execution for Bank of America's home loans retail sales division.

Berkadia has hired John Schorgl as a managing director in its Kansas City office.
Schorgl brings more than 20 years of real estate experience to Berkadia and specializes in the placement of debt and equity for commercial and multifamily real estate projects nationwide.
Prior to joining Berkadia, Schorgl was co-founder and partner of JC Cap, having previously served as a senior director at Marcus & Millichap and principal in Johnson Capital's Kansas City office.

Sutherland Mortgage Services has named Scott Slifer senior vice president and global head of mortgage industry vertical.
Slifer brings to Sutherland Mortgage Services over 26 years of industry experience.
Prior to Sutherland he served with PHH Mortgage and has also held positions at Citi, Freddie Mac, ABN Amro and GE.

Starkey Mortgage said that Jason Browning, Adam Hart and Ken Witte have joined the firm as branch managers.
Browning, branch manager in Plano, joins the firm with over 18 years of experience in mortgage management, and was most recently vice president, area manager at The Oak Group with SWBC Mortgage.
Hart, branch manager in Savannah, Ga., comes to Starkey Mortgage with 15 years of mortgage experience, and was most recently VP, regional sales manager at United Community Bank in Savannah.
Witte, manager of the Atlanta Central Branch, brings 28 years of mortgage experience to the firm and was sales manager at Element Funding prior to joining Starkey Mortgage.

VirPack said that Kelli Himebaugh has joined the company as national account executive.
Before joining VirPack, she served as vice president of customer experience with Altisource.
Prior to her work at Altisource, Himebaugh spent eight years with Mortgage Builder, where she served as corporate vice president overseeing business operations, client services and sales.
