Orange County's Credit Union has appointed Carlos Miramontez as vice president of mortgage lending.
In his new position, Miramontez is responsible for planning and directing all mortgage lending operations.
He has more than 20 years of lending experience and previously served as chief lending officer for LA Financial Credit Union.
Miramontez has also served on Freddie Mac's Credit Union Advisory Board and was chairman of Freddie Mac's Affordable Housing Advisory Committee.

ClosingCorp said that Bob Jennings has been named as the company's new chief executive officer.
Jennings was previously executive vice president of RealEC Technologies, a division of Black Knight Financial Services.
Jennings began his career with IBM Corp. in finance before moving into sales and sales management.

Element Funding, a division of Primary Residential Mortgage Inc., is opening a new branch office in Tampa.
Gary Tuorto, regional sales manager, and Seth Robbins, retail branch manager, will manage the new branch.
Tuorto has been in the mortgage industry for 20 years and most recently served as the senior vice president of mortgage lending at Bank Star One.
Robbins began his career in 2002 after serving his country at home and overseas.
He recently served as the Florida division president for Diamond Residential Mortgage Corp.

Alterra Home Loans has hired Terence Murray as its new Western division sales and expansion vice president.
Before joining Alterra, Murray served as the regional sales expansion manager at Prospect Mortgage.
Before that, he served as a senior loan consultant and mortgage banker with Merrill Lynch.

SUGAR LAND
Valuation Partners has hired Michelle Revilla as a regional account executive to oversee business growth in the Eastern U.S. region.
She will be responsible for selling appraisal and valuation products and services to mortgage companies, banks and credit unions.
Prior to joining Valuation Partners, Revilla served with Easy Mortgage Apps.

First Guaranty Mortgage Corp. has appointed Mike McElroy as its general counsel.
Prior to joining FGMC, McElroy served as general counsel and chief compliance officer and secretary to Stonegate Mortgage Corp.
He also served as senior vice president and general counsel of Home Loan Servicing Solutions.
