ComplianceEase co-founder Jason Roth has been named chief technology officer for the company.

As senior vice president of product management, Roth was primarily responsible for leading the development of the company's automated compliance suite.

In this newly created position, he has assumed responsibility for technology, strategy and execution across all of the company's platform and product lines.

IRVINE

Auction.com has hired Cho Hwang as vice president of commercial real estate operations.

An industry vet of more than 13 years, Hwang was most recently vice president of strategic support at Greenlight Loans (a division of Nationstar), where he managed enterprise initiatives and lead cross-functional operations to develop and implement IT and process improvements across multiple sites.

Prior to that, he served as senior manager of global service operations at Abbott Medical, process engineer at DaVita and project manager at LendingTree

Ellie Mae said that Piper Neal Beveridge has joined the company as vice president of government and strategic relations.

In this newly created role, she will focus on growing and managing Ellie Mae's relationships with government agencies and other regulatory bodies.

Before joining Ellie Mae, Beveridge spent 13 years at Fannie Mae, where she led multiple strategic initiatives.

Previously, she served in senior strategy consulting roles including senior vice president and practice leader at Operon Partners and as an associate at Mercer Management Consulting.

LenderLive said that Pete Pannes has joined the company as its first chief revenue officer.

Most recently, Pannes was part of the team that founded NMI Holdings Inc., a mortgage insurance company, where he served as its chief sales officer and executive vice president.

Prior to NMI, he spent more than 20 years at PMI Mortgage Insurance Co. in a number of sales roles, including senior vice president of field sales and national accounts.

Richard Roberts has been elected to the board of directors of the Housing Partnership Development Corp.

Roberts is managing director of acquisitions for Red Stone Equity Partners, assisting in the origination and management of developer relationships in the Northeast, and the development of new business strategies for the firm.

He has an extensive career in affordable housing and urban market investments having worked in these areas for over 18 years.

Prior to joining Red Stone, he worked in the government, for-profit and nonprofit sectors including serving as the commissioner of the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development.

He is also the founding managing director of the Goldman Sachs Urban Investment Group.

First Guaranty Mortgage Corp. has named Jane Gershman as its national servicing director.

Gershman was previously senior vice president, servicing operations at SunTrust.

Prior roles include senior vice president, loss mitigation division at ServiceLink, and executive vice president, loan servicing operations at Citi Residential Lending (formerly AMC Mortgage Services).
