InterLinc Mortgage Services promotes Gene Thompson to CEO

InterLinc Mortgage Services, headquartered in Houston, announced the promotion of its President, Gene F. Thompson, III to CEO. He fills the position vacated by James H. VanSteenhouse, who is stepping into the role of chairman of the board. Thompson has spent 15 years with the originator and servicer, which was founded in 2004 and now numbers 452 employees, with licenses in 21 states. The company reports that 2020 was its best ever, logging $2.5 billion in annual production, with purchase originations making up a 73% share.

Cherry Creek Mortgage promotes Tara Healy to CCO

Cherry Creek Mortgage’s vice president of compliance, Tara Healy, has been promoted to chief compliance officer. The five-year veteran of the Denver-based lender previously spent 15 years at LenderLive where she was most recently director of compliance. Healy is youngest female president of the Colorado Mortgage Lenders Association and a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association’s legal issues and regulatory compliance committee, according to the announcement. Cherry Creek, which is licensed in 33 states and has 70 retail locations, offers FHA, conventional and jumbo purchase and refinance loans.

Verity Global Solutions hires Ashok Radhakrishnan as EVP

Verity Global Solutions, a mortgage outsource fulfilment provider, has hired Ashok Radhakrishnan as executive vice president and global chief delivery officer. In his new role, the former vice president and country head at Ocwen Financial Solutions will oversee operations and is charged with “expanding and delivering the company’s breadth of services.” Radhakrishnan was also formerly COO of ISGN, a global mortgage technology provider and general manager and country head at Thomson Reuters, where he set up and ran large regulatory compliant operations in India. Verity, which is headquartered in San Antonio, has operations centers in Mumbai, Pune and Bangalore in India.

Aces Quality Management hires Amanda Phillips as EVP

Financial services software provider Aces Quality Management has hired Amanda Phillips as its executive vice president of compliance. Previous to this role, Phillips advised clients on mortgage regulation at Ballard Spahr. Prior to that, she spent six years at Accenture Mortgage Cadence as in-house counsel and executive vice president of legal and regulatory compliance.

Open Mortgage hires Lucas Allen to new SVP role

Dallas-based multi-channel mortgage lender Open Mortgage has created the new role of senior vice president of forward operations. Lucas Allen has been hired to oversee “all forward loans, including managing the appraisal, disclosures, processing, underwriting, and closing and funding teams,” according to the company's announcement. Previously, Allen was vice president and community operations director at Movement Mortgage. He has also spent time at Sutherland Global Services, Accenture, and Goldman Sachs’ Senderra. Open Mortgage has nearly 400 employees with 65 branches in 22 states, including many third-party originators. It is licensed in 46 states and the District of Columbia.
