10-Year Trading Lower

The rate-indicative 10-year Treasury yield was trading in a lower range, below 4.2%, on Wednesday morning.Previously, the yield had been trading closer to 4.4%, according to Yahoo! Finance. Mortgage-backed securities, meanwhile -- which had been trading in a tight range versus Treasuries -- began trading "at the wider end of the range" Wednesday morning, said RBS Greenwich Capital in its "MBS and Derivative Market Mid-Day Update" report. The report indicated that MBS were "about [one] tick wider" to 10-year Treasuries at midmorning Wednesday.
