10-Year Yield in Higher Range

The rate-indicative 10-year Treasury yield has returned to a higher range not seen since roughly mid-February.The benchmark, which was trading at about 4.75% at midday Monday, had averaged about 4.55% in late February through early March. It had started to rise gradually in late March. The upward trend accelerated in early April, breaking above 4.70%.
