10-Year Yield Plummets

The rate-indicative 10-year Treasury yield plummeted Friday morning following the release of weaker-than-expected overall employment statistics, which showed a gain of only 32,000 jobs in July.The 10-year note was trading near 4.2% at noon Friday, according to Yahoo! Finance. Before the employment report's release Friday morning, the 10-year Treasury had been trading near 4.4%.
