10-Year Yield Plummets

The yield of the long-term rate-indicative 10-year Treasury note had plummeted to about 4.78% as of noon Thursday.The benchmark yield had previously been trading at levels just below 5%, according to Yahoo! Finance. The primary drivers of the decline were concerns about U.S. housing in the wake of recent statistics indicating that it was weaker than expected.
