American Financial Realty Trust, Jenkintown, Pa., has completed the sale of $300 million in 4.375% convertible senior notes due 2024.The real estate investment trust said the net proceeds will be used chiefly to acquire properties. One of the initial purchasers has been granted a 45-day option to buy an additional $85 million of the senior notes, the REIT said.
