The Appraisal Institute named a Texas appraiser as its new elected vice president for 2012 as part of its annual changing of the guard.
Ken P. Wilson of Plano, Texas, will be the AI’s VP as of Jan. 1, 2012.
The post is the first of four he will hold over the next four years as he rotates through the various posts of the AI’s executive committee.
Also on Jan. 1, 2012, current president-elect Sara W. Stephens will become president; current VP Richard L. “Rick” Borges II will become president-elect; and current president Joseph C. Magdziarz will become immediate past president. Leslie P. Sellers, currently the organization’s immediate past president, will end his term on the executive committee.
