The Basel Committee on Banking Supervision plans to publish the text of its Basel II international capital standards at the end of June, the Bank for International Settlements has reported.A number of mortgage market participants have been keeping a close eye on the development of Basel II, which affects the amount of capital that must be set aside to cover the risk of loans or loan securitizations in order to meet international standards.
