Brian Benson Hired to Head ClosingCorp

Brian Benson has been hired as chief executive of ClosingCorp, a La Jolla, Calif.-based provider of closing cost data for mortgage lenders. He replaces Paul Mass, who is stepping down as the company’s president although remaining as a member of the board of directors.

Most recently, Benson was with CoreLogic as its vice president of sales. He has expertise in title, lending, vendor management, commercial and residential real estate brokerage, plus appraisal and secondary market operations.

In a statement from the company, Mass said, “While my role at the company has changed, I look forward to remaining actively involved as a member of the board and I will continue to support this management team however I can.”
