Canadian Housing Starts Rise

The seasonally adjusted rate of Canadian housing starts was 233,900 in August, up from 223,500 in July, according to the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corp."Year-to-date, actual starts have exceeded last year's level of 4.7%," said Bob Dugan, chief economist at the CMHC.
