Carrington Mortgage Continues to Hire

Carrington Mortgage Services, Santa Ana, Calif., this week hired Mark Allanach as regional vice president of mortgage lending, giving him the task of helping the nonbank expand its retail operations across the country.

A spokesman for the firm noted that Allanach is not assigned to any particular region and will work on national initiatives including developing key relationships and alliances within the industry.

Allanach joins the lender from CitiFinancial Service, where he served as director for New England, New York, Delaware and Maryland.

In a press statement, Ray Brousseau, Carrington executive vice president, said, “Mark has a tremendous track record of success in the mortgage retail channel, having grown branch operations across the Northeast and Midwest. Adding Mark to our team will allow us to build on the momentum we’ve seen over the past six months in our retail operations.”

Recently, Carrington hired Lynn Halstead as vice president of wholesale.
