Churchill Mortgage, a Brentwood, Tenn.-based lender that provides conventional, FHA, VA and USDA residential mortgages for borrowers, has expanded its financial services operations by opening an office in Kentucky.
The new branch will be located in Franklin, Ky. Churchill Mortgage said this branch will serve the Kentucky areas of Russellville, Scottsville and Bowling Green, as well as several neighboring Tennessee communities such as Portland, Springfield, White House, Gallatin and Hendersonville.
Churchill currently originates loans in 25 states throughout the country.
Tomi Beck and Travis Graves, who have a combined 45 years in the banking, financing and real estate industries, will lead the lender's expansion into Kentucky.
Beck, who will serve as the branch manager, previously worked as a mortgage loan specialist with Fifth Third Bank, a loan officer for First Tennessee Bank and a branch manager for American Home Mortgage prior to joining Churchill.
Graves will become the new branch's senior loan officer where he will be responsible for originating loans. Before joining Churchill in July and transitioning into lending, Graves worked at a small Kentucky mortgage brokerage company and was also a former real estate broker and office manager for a franchise in Kentucky.
“By expanding into Kentucky, Churchill Mortgage will now help more communities accomplish their homeownership goals,” said Mike Hardwick, president of Churchill Mortgage. “I'm confident Tomi and Travis will be successful in their efforts establishing good relationships with Kentucky borrowers.”
