Computershare to Buy Altavera Mortgage Services

Computershare has agreed to buy Altavera Mortgage Services, a provider of third-party origination services to residential lenders.

Financial terms were not disclosed. The deal is expected to close in April, according to an Altavera news release.

Altavera, in Denver, provides loan set-up, processing, underwriting, closing, funding and quality control for all mortgage product types.

Altavera will remain an independent entity within Computershare's Mortgage Services division. Altavera's founder, Brian Simons, will remain in the role of president.
