CS: MI, "Disorderly" European Woes Among Risks to Watch

Mortgage insurance concerns and the possibility of a "disorderly" European recession are among the market risks that should be watched going forward, Credit Suisse strategists said in a global outlook conference call Monday morning.

Fixed income global strategist James Sweeney told listeners to the call that private mortgage insurance risks are among concerns in the U.S.

Also during the call, Neal Soss, CS's chief economist and global head of economics, noted that while global economies have become less synchronized recently, in the case of a "disorderly" recession in Europe it is "not so clear everybody else can remain desynchronized."
