The Houston-based full-service mortgage banking firm recently launched two branches in the Atlanta metropolitan area. The new locations will serve not only the downtown Atlanta region, but also the suburban markets.

“This is one of the best times to be in this area because the real estate market is really picking up,” said Dusty Hill, area manager of Envoy Mortgage’s new Atlanta office.

“Primarily, the residential market is booming with a lot of new construction in single-family homes as well as condos. It’s an exciting time to be in the Atlanta market and to be a part of that growth.”

Hill joined Envoy in October 2012 to oversee the two new offices located in Atlanta and Duluth. Previously, he was president of HomeServices Lending Georgia, a joint venture alliance between Wells Fargo Mortgage and HomeServices of America.

Envoy Mortgage also hired Marie Pike as a sales manager and Elizabeth Crowe as a mortgage loan originator to focus on growing the new branches for the company.

Hill said Envoy plans on opening more branches in the near future as business expands.

Currently, Envoy originates loans in 47 states with a network of retail branch locations throughout the country.
