Field Asset Services recently started a comprehensive online training program in order to help its vendors improve their daily business operations.
FAS Vendor University is a six-month program that features Internet-based courses and hands-on learning activities to guide vendors in performing pre-foreclosure, REO and renovation field services to the mortgage servicing industry.
During the program, vendors will learn how to streamline their financial processes, identify bottlenecks in their operations, design a hiring process that helps qualify and retain the right employees and incorporate other industry-leading best practices to make their businesses more successful.
Dale McPherson, CEO of Austin, Texas-based Field Asset Services, said this training program is different than others offered by competitors because it is “specifically tailored for our vendors and our industry.”
“FAS Vendor University is a series of lessons and ‘go-and-do’ exercises that apply directly to field service companies. By providing vendors with the latest tools and education, they are given the opportunity to make their businesses more efficient,” McPherson said. “In addition, by implementing more effective business strategies, our customers can be guaranteed they are receiving only the highest quality of service.”
The program has been created in conjunction with the Acton School of Business, one of the top MBA programs in the country for entrepreneurship.
As part of the curriculum, FAS will track vendors’ progress and award business growth certification status to those who complete the course.
