First American Title Insurance Co., Santa Ana, Calif., has announced that it will replace recorded mortgage and property-related documents at no charge for homeowners who lost their homes in the recent Southern California wildfires.The document replacement will include property tax information, recorded deeds, and tax assessor maps. In addition, First American said it is offering a 40% discount on title insurance for fire victims securing a new deed of trust or a construction loan on the lost properties.
